Foundation Year
Established in Jamnagar, India, as a brass component manufacturer under the partnership firm Balark Industries. Began operations with a 73 sq. meter facility, 4 manual machines and 4 employees, founded by Mr. Purushottam Vyas.

1988 - 1995
Expansion, Automation & Computerisation
Mr. Paresh Vyas, of the second generation, joined the business. Set up a new production facility on a 540 sq. meter plot in an industrial area, with a 100 sq. meter shop floor. Introduced semi-automatic machines and began computerizing daily operations. Gradually expanded the shop floor to 300 sq. meters with increased machinery.

2003 - 2010
ISO Certification & Quality Excellence
The second generation, Mr. Mehul Vyas, joined the company. Achieved ISO 9001 certification for quality management. Invested in high-precision machinery and a computer-integrated system across departments. Expanded the shop floor to 1100 sq. meters. Established a dedicated R&D unit for new product development. Commenced export operations in 2006.

2012 - 2020
Infrastructure Expansion & HSE Certification
Reconstituted as Balark Metals Private Limited. Relocated to a new premise spanning 15,600 sq. meters. Expanded shop floor to 4,250 sq. meters. Introduced CNC technology in 2015. Achieved ISO 14001:2004 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007 certifications for Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety Management. Recognised as an Export House by the Government of India.

2021 - 2025
Sustainability & Digital Transformation
Implemented a fully integrated ERP system in 2021. Installed a 300 KVA solar power plant. Adopted green manufacturing practices starting 2022. Launched Balark Care Foundation for CSR initiatives in 2023 - 24. Enhanced workforce development in engineering and production departments. Completed construction of a new 6,000 sq. meter building, increasing total shop floor area to 9,000 sq. meters.

Future Roadmap
Drive automation and AI integration in manufacturing operations. Expand into new engineering sectors and specialized components. Achieve IATF 16949 certification by 2026 for integrated management systems. Attain ZED Gold Certification from the Government of India by 2026. In-house production capacity to increase by 3 times by 2027 compared to 2018 levels. Achieve net-zero carbon emissions across operations by 2030, through renewable energy, sustainable practices, and carbon offset strategies.
